Quality Flow Control

You missed the call.
You don't have to lose the job.

A simple system that texts your customer back the second you miss their call — so they have a reason to wait for you instead of dialing the next name while you're busy doing the work.

A missed call that almost cost a local business a job they never knew they lost.

My AC unit was having issues. I did what most people do — pulled up Google and looked for the best-rated HVAC company in my area. Found one with strong reviews and called them.

No answer. The voicemail told me his mailbox was full and gave me a different number to call or text. I wasn't ready for that. I didn't have anything to write it down with. So I hung up.

My first thought was to just call someone else. So I took a minute, found something to write with, and called back.

He answered the second time. Turned out he was finishing up with another customer which is exactly why he hadn't picked up. We set an appointment, he came out, fixed the problem quickly and charged a fair price. I understood immediately why his reviews were so strong.

But I kept thinking about it. If I hadn't called back, that was a job he never knew he lost, to a customer who never complained, who just quietly called someone else. Think about what that job would have been worth to you. Then think about how many times a week that might be happening.

This isn't just your business. It's how people search now.

When someone needs a plumber, an HVAC tech, an electrician — they pull up Google, find a few names, and start calling down the list. If you don't pick up, most of them don't leave a voicemail and most of them don't call back. They just dial the next name. You never see that call, so you never know it happened.

That's the part that's hard to feel: the calls you know you missed are bad enough. The ones that hurt are the ones you never see — someone who called once, got nothing, and quietly went with someone else.

The fix isn't answering every call. You can't. You're on a job. The fix is making sure that when you can't pick up, the person hears from you fast enough that they don't go looking somewhere else before you're free to call them back.

Three things happen automatically. You do none of them.

1
Someone calls your number and you miss it. You're on a job, under a crawlspace, with another customer. Doesn't matter why.
2
They hear a short message that a text is on the way, and seconds later it arrives: "Hi, this is Quality Flow Control. We missed your call but we got your number and will be in touch shortly." They stop looking for someone else.
3
You get a text with their number and the time they called. If they reply to the text, their reply lands on your phone too. You call back when you're free. The job is still yours.
A fast response is what keeps people from wandering. When someone calls and hears nothing, they keep dialing. When they get a text back right away, they have a reason to wait for you instead of going to the next name on the list.

Two texts. That's the whole system.

Nothing about how you work changes. Not one thing.

Same phone number you have always had
No app to download or learn
No new software to figure out
Your customers still call the same number
Your crew, your process, your pricing — all unchanged

The only difference is that when you miss a call, something happens instead of nothing. Your customer hears from you. The job is still there when you get a free moment.

You run your business. I keep the system running.

Before anything goes live we get on a call together. I learn how your business operates, what your customers expect, and what needs to be set up on my end to make this work the right way for you specifically. From there I handle the build and make sure everything is tested before it ever touches a real call.

What the process looks like

1
We talk — I get to know your business and what you need
2
I build and configure the system on my end
3
We test it together to make sure everything works the way it should
4
It runs on its own from there — you just keep doing your work
When something isn't working right, I fix it. I built this system and I know it inside out. If a text isn't going through or something looks off, you reach out and I take care of it. This isn't a product you buy and figure out on your own — it's a system I stand behind.

If this makes sense for your business

Reply to my message and we will set up a quick call. I will explain exactly how it works for your situation and answer any questions you have.

If it is not for you, no worries at all — thanks for taking the time to read this.
